Canceling your account

Engine Yard on Amazon

For the protection of your account, only the Owner of the account can cancel your account. To do so, the owner just has to go to the Account drop-down, then to "Account Settings."

At the bottom of the "Account Settings" page, the owner will see a "Please Cancel My Account" link.

Remember that a regular user will not see this link. To change the owner of the account, the owner must submit a ticket with Engine Yard Support.

If the customer was an EYK (Engine Yard Kontainers) customer, then they will need to follow the steps above, then we will need to elevate the ticket to the BU so that L3 can remove any remaining EYK resources and stop billing as needed.
